What I Do
Marketer, developer, media producer, musician from Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
I've been obsessed with the intersection of technology and creativity for as long as I can remember. I started coding on an Apple ][+ computer back in 1981, programming anything from goofy little games to my own BBS (bulletin board system) before the Internet was a thing. In the early '90s, I built my own electronic drum kit from scratch and played it at live gigs around Ohio.
Today it means leading global marketing for GatesAir (a broadcasting tech company with roots in the 1920s) while still writing code, exploring AI, developing games, and making music on the side. From web development to Roblox game design to experimenting with the latest in machine learning, the same tech curiosity that drew me to a Systems Analysis degree at Miami University has never really had an off switch. Neither has the music; I've been in recording bands since I was in my late teens, and I'm still at it.
Whether I'm shaping a brand story, building a website, producing a video, or layering tracks in a mix, the goal is always the same: make something that resonates.
